When I look at this photo I feel as if Francesca has wings on her back, I just can't quite see them because of the lighting. This Rembrant like lighting has an old master kind of feel to it, with semi religious overtones. Perhaps that's why it speaks to me of angels! Notice how the body points off to the left of the picture, while the head points to the right. It's a simple device but crucial to this image. Look again and imagine the head pointing in the same direction as the body. Would the photograph still be as interesting ? Fine Art Nude .com
