Sometimes you want to show as much of the female body as you can, without showing everything. This antique petty coat, originally would have been worn with a number of other undergarments, to add volume to a Victorian dress. Here, by itself, it does the job beautifully, where I wanted to show the full form of the belly, without the distraction of full nudity. The line formed by the top of the petty coat serves also to create two triangular shapes, of the hips either side of the lower belly. This frames the oval shape of the whole belly in an interesting way. All these elements combine here to create a dynamic and interesting photograph. Fine Art Nude .com
