female photography color galleryIn female photography it really adds to the femininity of the model to be framed by a Kimono of such exquisite design and coloration. This is my favourite of the kimono and mask photographs. There is an interesting rhythm that flows from the top of the image to the bottom. The eye naturally moves from the head to the breast, the belly and down to the leg and mask . In the lower half of the photograph the kimono opens out to reveal it's wonderfully rich and vibrant pattern.

Each side of the kimono forms an elongated triangle which frames Francesca's body. Although it's not a rigid shape, it forms lines which are straight, compared to the female body. This emphasises the curves and rhythms of Francesca's beautiful young body. The final touch which should not be overlooked is the wonderful old floor with it's rich texture. The floor in my studio consists of fifteen foot long planks ten inches wide, and they add lots of character to this photo. Fine Art Nude.com
