The stockings give a slight feeling of the erotic, but the pose is very soft and gentle. I find the fact that the model is nude, but wearing stockings more interesting in this setting, than if she were completely naked. It's perhaps the fact that the setting is actually the boudoir of Marie Antoinette, that gives this photo an air of gracious and refined eroticism.The inclination of the head creates a pensive mood, one of reflection.
